Session (1) Basic Plumbing Inspections: Plumbing is supply in and waste out. Everything in between is for our own convenience as dwelling agents. Session (2) Basement Inspections, Reporting and Identifying Defects: Basements present a huge liability for home inspectors because numerous basement problems exist and repairs are very expensive.

Description
[Session 1] In this class, we will discuss the components of supply pipes and waste lines and how water is heated for our use. We will also discuss the differences among FVIR, conventional and tankless heaters, explain and discuss the different ways a house can be plumbed for maximum distribution with minimal leaks and cover what to look for and what might be missing. [Session 2] Learn basement inspection techniques from an inspector who has reported on more than 9,000 basements and routinely works as a legal expert witness on basement problems. This session covers methods of properly inspecting a basement and documenting conditions. It includes statements that limit your liability. Discover how to document inspection restrictions and make referrals to a specialist. Review actual defects and learn how they should be documented. Review repair options. The presentation covers full-depth basement inspections—not crawl spaces, not slabs.
