Typical common defects will be discussed but the primary focus will be on the more obscure concerns that are easily and often missed. Several examples of these "hidden defects in plain sight" will be given. The presentation will begin with a brief overview of electrical theory including Ohm's law, along with defining voltage, amperage, resistance and frequency. Proper safety procedures will be covered, including protective apparel. The proper use and application of different types of electrical meters newer components showing up in new construction.
